1st days training!

Day 1

I'm about to embark on 3 months of sheer training and hardship. NO ALCOHOL AND NO FRIED FOOD is going to be the hardest thing about this endeavour. I'm trying at the moment to thing of the positives rather than all the negatives! Being healthy, early nights, higher performance in football (and the bedroom) and of course the elusive 6 pack! and im not talking about beer! i'm gonna try and update this everyday, not really for anybody else but me. A record of how its going and seeing which training is paying off the most. As they said the other day in our induction meeting; once you get in the ring and forget everything we have taught you over the past 12 weeks, its usually the fittest person that comes out on top! So apart from going to the gym everday at lunch time which is the norm i will now be doing 3 90min training sessions at Vanda boxing. Obviously midweek footy and saturday games are a given! So all that training plus Sparky i'm too hotty sessions squeezed in somewhere i'm sure come september 17th im gonna have guns the size of ....waterpistols??! My diet is obiously in drastic need of a change and sticking to it is gonna be key! My sweet-tooth and thirst for beer is really gonna test me...... SO 6.30pm tonight is the first 90min session! ive already been to the gym at 12pm for an hour. 3km jog,sit-ups pull up bars and 10 lengths in the pool... just a light one as i need to gauge how much i can leave in the tank for the evening sessions!!

Lets just hope that tomorrow i dont hurt too much

  1. Hey Rob, I think it fantastic what you are about to embark on!!! You will feel so full of energy and sometimes it might be pretty hard!! Remember: NO PAIN, NO GAIN!! You can do it. Remember to eat healthy carbs (complex) and protein! You are going to need it with all the training you are about to start!!!

I will definitely be reading your blog!!!
    Take care and good luck
